The band's name "BUKSBUNNY" is taken from a cartoon character named "BUGSBUNNY". Why take the name of this cartoon?, Many people who ask this question. The band was inspired by a cartoon rabbit. People are always cheerful in the face of problems, as well as the always cheerful BUKSBUNNY together in the face of obstacles. Just like a rabbit who liked to jump up and down, BUKSBUNNY also enjoys jumping in their dance BRADDABUKS and the "RASTAMAN" or any other reggae music lovers.

Start a musical career since December 25, 2007 with Roots Rock Reggae band. Until finally in the year 2008 could be constructed. Later in the year, BUKSBUNNY start to rise again with new personnel. Then, a regular gig at music festivals events or from church to church in Jakarta.
